Difference: MDF, particle board and solid wood

There are three kinds of board will be used in the production process of indoor products, MDF board, particle board and solid wood board. Then we will introduce their different.

MDF Board (Medium Density Fiberboard), MDF board is a man-made board made of wood fiber or other plant fiber after breaking, separating and drying processing, then applying urea-formaldehyde resin or other applicable adhesives, and then after hot pressing. This is the board that we use most often in our products.

Particle board, which is a kind of wood-based board made by cutting various branches and buds, small-diameter wood, rapidly-growing wood, and wood chips after drying, mixing with glue, hardener, waterproofing agent, and etc. Under a certain temperature and pressure, the particles are not evenly arranged. This is a relatively affordable material in the boards that we often use.

Solid wood board is made from complete wood, it is firm and durable and the grain is natural. It have better moisture absorption and air permeability, and is beneficial to human body health. It is the high grade plank that makes high-grade furniture.
